About Us

Jiangxi B-energy Shangrao Coach Co., Ltd. (originally the Shangrao Coach Plant) was established in 1969 and has been working on coach manufacturing for over 40 years. It is a state-owned level 2 enterprise under Jiangxi B-energy Group, a national key coach manufacturing enterprise, a key enterprise supported by the “Top 10 Strategic Emerging Industries” of Jiangxi Province as well as the only provincial coach technology R&D center of Jiangxi Province. The Company is renowned for the first innovation of rear mounting technology of gasoline engine and first exportation to overseas markets in China and has successfully manufactured the parade floats for the events of the 50th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and the 60th Anniversary of Jiangxi Province. 

The Company covers a land of 365 Mu with factory building area of over 60,000 m2. It has comprehensive production and detection lines on stamping, welding, coating and general assembling and an annual output of over 4,000 traditional coaches, new energy coaches and special coaches. The products cover over 50 models of ordinary, medium and high ends in 6 major series including special purpose school bus, group tourism, public transportation, passenger transportation, new energy and special vehicle. The Company has passed ISO9001: 2008 Quality System Certification, and all products have passed 3C certification and satisfy the requirements of national environment protection catalogs. In addition, all related supporting enterprises have passed ISO9001 certification. 


In 2004, under the technical guidance of the former CEO of German, the Company independently developed the integral bus body coaches by integrating bird cage type integral aircraft body with its original rear mounting technology of gasoline engine. Such innovation can effectively guarantee the passenger safety, lighten the dead weight of the coach, effectively lower the energy consumption and realize significant reform from being chassis oriented to integral vehicle oriented for coaches. With this innovation, the Company has become one among the few coach manufacturers in China first mastering integral bus body technologies. 


In 2010, B-energy Coach established all-round strategic cooperation on brand, technology and capital with the CAS. Under such partnership, the Company obtained core new energy vehicle technologies such as electronic control and electronic driving, obtained the first batch of qualification certification of complete vehicle manufacturing of new energy coach, research and developed full series of new energy coach products including pure electric driving, mixed power, etc. and obtained 31 national patents for invention and 12 patents for utility models. 

In 2014, explosive growth was witnessed on orders of new energy coaches of the Company, with sales markets covering multiple provincial regions such as Shandong and Sichuan. The Company took a market share up to over 50 in Jiangxi Province of the year. 

In 2015, B-energy Shangrao New Energy Coach was included into Special Construction Project by the NDRC, where special fund supports were granted on new energy coach manufacturing and R&D under the Program. 

In 2016, B-energy initiated a New Energy Vehicle Industrial Development Fund with a fund size of RMB 3 billion so as to integrate complete vehicle and core components resources of new energy coaches, join hands with industrially leading battery and motor partners for integrated superiorities of five major elements of capital, talent, technology, product and cost. 

The sales and after-sale network of the Company has been widely distributed in over 30 provincial regions in China as well as overseas areas.
